A brand is an intangible asset that resides in people’s minds, which is defined by the expectations people have about the benefits they will receive. These expectations of benefits are developed over time by communications and, more importantly, by actions.
Branding communicates what your company is about. Branding greatly simplifies the purchase decision process. Branding gives purchasers a reason to buy other than price. Branding may well be your best sustaining source of competitive advantage. Branding adds value to the balance sheet.
Let me preface this by saying, that what we’re demonstrating are only suggestions for adding quality to your services through enhanced packaging. There are many different ways to package your finished goods. And, many of those ways will equally enhance your work.
Your packaging should reflect the quality of work you’re producing. For example, if you’re a one-price low-price cleaner you really can’t afford to provide the finest high quality packaging available. On the other hand, if you’re a full-price cleaner, you owe it to yourself and your customer to package your work in the best, most complete, package. This will preserve the quality of your work until the customer is ready to wear the garment again, whether that next week or next year.
